The myth of the bird

Nest, Speakers and Recording, 2013

Sound art intervention consisting of a bird's nest and two speakers arranged in the space to intervene (hall of the Cultural Center of Recoleta).
Through the sound of the trill of a bird tries to produce the illusion of a real bird that has been hovering in the enclosure, in this way the work tries to evidence the relation exterior-interior producing a certain continuity of the exterior landscape with the interior of the Building that welcomes the community.
The bird and its nest are a metaphor for the outside life of the neighborhood that is "fanned out" in this community, and its flight is nothing more than the creative restlessness that promises the appropriation of this common place.
